PLANNING STEPS TO BUILD A PRIVACY WALL WITH OUR KLÉCO SYSTEM FOR PRIVACY WALL AND FENCE
At Dekavie, you will find all the components to install yourself your deck wall or privacy fence. Contact a member of our team for support in your project.
1. FENCE OR SCREEN WALL? The two basic formats offered are 4×6 and 6×6. However, if your needs are different, the components can be cut. For a privacy fence, choose a 96” (8′) post since you will need to put a 24” lenght in the ground (to ensure strenght).
2. DETERMINE WIDTH OF YOUR SECTIONS: Depending on the configuration of your patio or yard, choose a 4′ or 6′ wide section to create your outdoor privacy wall. Posts height is 36, 48, 72 and 96″. The hardware kit include: 2 corner braces, 20 screws and 2 black head screws
3. CHOOSE MATERIAL AND COLOR FOR YOUR PATIO PRIVACY WALL/FENCE
– Ultra-sturdy 100% recycled plastic deck boards, made and installed in Québec since 28 years. Prioritize the square finish if you’re looking for a privacy panel without partitioning your outdoor space.
We have a range of six colors available, from pale to full black. Don’t worry, the boards won’t fade in the long run thanks to their UV treatment and full coloring, unlike painted treated wood planks.

PRO ADVICE: Always anchor the poles in wood. For windy places, it is even recommanded to bolt the posts.
