THE MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- What is the lifespan of Dekavie? Unlike traditional composite boards, our boards do not contain wood particles. Although they are not structural, they offer exceptional durability over time, without the problems of rot or swelling. The lifespan of your patio with our 100% recycled plastic planks is therefore greater. We proudly say that our oldest boards were installed in 1996 and their lifespan is far from over. They can be reused on a new structure!
- Are the screws visible? No. The boards are tongue-and-groove and then screwed at a 45° angle in the female part for an impeccable finish, with no visible screws.
- Do boards get hot in the sun? Many people wonder (with good reason!) about the warmth of the product. Well, it’s comparable to wood and it’s really the color that determines whether the board is warm or not: a dark color retains heat while it’s the opposite for a light color.
