Recycled Plastic Deck Boards

Why Choose Dekavie Boards as Your Patio Covering?

Dekavie boards are made of 100% recycled plastic and have been installed in Quebec since 1996. It is a local, ecological and sustainable choice.

Not only they are maintenance-free, they are chosen above all for their incomparable durability. They are resistant to scratches and chemicals, such as chlorine and salt.

Because we are a family company that takes care of its customers. And that we sell to both individuals and contractors for those who want a turnkey project.

Ultra resistant, these boards do not require any special maintenance. Only regular cleaning (with a pressure washer if you have one) for the life of the patio.

Too good to be true?

With recycled plastic boards, you are opting for an aesthetic and practical solution that will optimize the life of your deck. Although they are not structural, they offer great durability and strength. When installing, it is essential to take into account their natural elongation due to temperature variations. It is necessary to make an adequate structure with joists close together to guarantee the stability and longevity of your patio. Hot or not in the sun?

Many customers wonder (and rightly so!) about the warmth of patio boards in the sun. The warmth of recycled plastic planks is comparable to wood and is determined by the color. The darker it is, the hotter it is. Therefore, it is an element to consider when choosing your color, in accordance with the orientation of your patio. For a south-facing patio, we advise you to choose the color Seafoam Grey or River Sand to have a deck that doesn’t burn your feet!

Direct purchase from warehouse

Just because it’s local doesn’t mean it’s more expensive. Since consumers buy directly from the Dekavie warehouse, they do not pay for the import of the product or for its transport over long distances.
